Meet Your Assistant Director
Melinda King has served as Assistant Director at our Skowhegan location for 16 years, beginning as a Direct Support Professional and growing within the organization while maintaining her hands-on commitment to person-centered care. A certified Direct Support Professional with extensive credentials including MHRT-1 and Behavioral Specialist certifications, Melinda supports 19 adults in achieving their personal goals and community integration. “Working for Families Matter has been a great joy in my life,” says Melinda. “The individuals we serve are amazing people, and it’s so satisfying to watch them achieve their goals and help them find more opportunities in the community.”
